Deletion request

Use this page to request deletion of your PetSpot account and account-only personal information. The platform operator is PetSpot Technologies LLC, Georgia, identification number 422961637. You can submit a request without installing the application or signing in to the website.
1. Send a request
Email support@petspot.love with the subject “PetSpot account deletion”.
The button opens your email application. No request is sent until you send the email yourself. If no email application is configured, copy the address and send a message using your usual email service.
Include the email associated with your account or your PetSpot public ID, if known, and explain whether you want the account and account-only personal information deleted or only specified information. You do not have to provide a reason. Do not send a password, one-time code or a full passport copy.
Where possible, write from the account email. If you used Apple’s email-hiding option, provide the relay address if known, or another account identifier. Tell us if you no longer have access to the original email so that we can arrange proportionate verification. Knowing a public ID alone does not prove authority to delete someone else’s account.

Please delete my PetSpot account and account-only personal information. Account email or public ID: … . Please confirm the outcome and explain which information is retained on a lawful basis, for how long or under which criterion, and why.
2. After your request
We identify the account and scope, verify your connection to it where necessary, assess account-only platform data and communicate the outcome. If the request concerns pet information, care history, a clinic booking, QR check-in, a clinical document or information processed on a clinic’s instructions, we help identify the responsible party and direct that part of the request to the clinic. Verification must not require excessive information or cause unjustified delay.
Account deletion means ending the account’s use and erasing or irreversibly anonymising account-only personal information that has no lawful retention ground. It is not merely signing out, blocking sign-in or removing a profile row. It does not automatically delete pet records, care history or veterinary history.
3. Information considered for deletion
An account-deletion request covers sign-in and profile information; account contacts and photos; notifications, push tokens and access grants; and related information in requests, guest sessions and integrations, insofar as it concerns your account and is controlled by PetSpot.
Account deletion does not automatically delete pet records, pet history, vaccinations, treatments, events, weight, clinic bookings, QR check-ins, clinical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, laboratory results or clinic documents. These data are assessed separately according to the responsible party, selected feature and lawful retention ground. If a particular record belongs to a clinic context, PetSpot helps direct the request to the clinic, but does not promise to erase its medical or operational documentation solely because an account is deleted.
Erasure or anonymisation must respect other participants’ lawful rights. It does not mean deleting an entire clinic database because your account was a staff member or administrator. Other users’ information is assessed separately.
4. Information that may be retained
Only specific information with a justified independent basis is retained: for example, evidence needed for an identified dispute or security incident, mandatory accounting records, or clinical records for which a clinic is responsible and that it lawfully must or may retain. We explain applicable categories, purposes and periods or retention criteria. Generic references to “medicine”, “security” or “possible disputes” do not justify keeping an entire account indefinitely.
External downloaded, printed or forwarded copies do not disappear automatically. This does not remove PetSpot’s duties concerning its own copies, links and recipients where required by law. Backup and service copies must not be used to bypass deletion; the applicable cycle and restrictions are available on request.
Detailed criteria are in the Privacy Policy. Revoking clinic access and archiving a pet are not equivalent to deletion.
5. Timing and confirmation
Requests to stop processing or erase data are handled within the statutory deadline. Under the general Georgian-law rule, within 10 working days of the request, processing is stopped and/or data is erased, or a reasoned response and appeal information are provided. Shorter deadlines for specific rights remain applicable. An extension permitted only for other request types is not automatically applied to erasure.
Confirmation identifies completed actions and justified exceptions. Code expiry, application removal or a profile disappearing from the screen does not itself confirm complete erasure of associated server-side information.
6. Specific situations
You visited a clinic without an account. Explain that the request concerns QR check-in or a record created by the clinic. Provide minimal locating information, such as the clinic, approximate date and contact details you supplied. Creating an account is not required.
You want only particular information erased. Identify the category, such as an account photo, contact, message, entry or pet information. Deleting your whole account is not required for such a request. Pet data and clinical history are assessed separately from account deletion.
You already used in-app deletion but the outcome is unclear. Provide the date and account identifier; do not create a new account just to test deletion. The web contact remains available regardless of application status.
You want to keep documents. You can first request an available copy of your data and then deletion. Obtaining a copy is not a prerequisite for erasure.
